During the fall semester of my junior year, I had the opportunity to take part in a mentorship program at JMU. The program paired each student with a business owner/entrepreneur who was a graduate of JMU. I was able to hone my communication skills, and learn how to face failure head on. During the program I also took on the role of panel discussion facilitator, which aided in the development of my public speaking and administrative skills. I am very grateful that I got to be a part of this program and I would highly recommend it!
